Welcome to Empower Math!

 

I am Jeongmin Shon (call me JM).

 

Over 9 years, I've been teaching college-level math at UCSC and CNM. Throughout the years, I've met many students who found math challenging and overwhelming. My goal has always been to make math more accessible, enjoyable, and doable for everyone. 

​

I hold a Ph.D. in mathematics at UCSC, which has provided me with a deep understanding of math and the skills to teach it effectively. I believe that my educational background and teaching experience will offer you practical guidance to overcome math hurdles.
